Re: The two prophets. I feel a relationship with the 'bodys in the street for 3 1/2 days to the 10 horned beast the forth and final beast Dan 8: 23-25..He will defy the Most High God, and wear down the saints with persecution, and try to chnge the laws, morals, and customs. Gods people will be helpless in his hands for 3 1/2 years...27 Then every nation under heaven, and all their power, shall be given to the people of God. They shall rule all things forever, and all rulers shall serve and obey them.

I've considered that the two witnesses could represent the first Kingdom/Children of Israel and the second Kingdom/Christianity... and clothed in sackcloth representing repentance...
Thank you for posting. I certainly believe that the two witnesses of Revelation are in the past, as all of Revelation. Looking at their attributes it seems that these two witnesses are the law and the prophets symbolized by the attributes of Moses and Elijah. I welcome your opinion as we all just seek the truth on these important issues. Thanks for posting. God bless!

figuratively Moses and Elijah, Moses was a shadow/ type of Christ and John the Baptist in the Spirit of Elijah. Maybe as a speculation not in future but past tense, Jesus and John Bapt. were the two witnesses?
