YES It is required as are all seven of the called out meeting times. Our faith must be based on knowledge of the Torah. We must call upon our creator by his name, and observe his Torah.

Sad that almost all believers in the biblical god choose their own way... A one hour "j"esus show on SUNday. Why? Liberty and freedom in "christ"... really(?)
Do you then rush home for Sunday brunch before football... hot ham and rolls...yum ;-)

Yahweh's word is perfect and does not change overtime just because we walk and talk about it.

Do you celebrate the 500 year old British name, on the first day, and eat unclean food? Considering your self beter than your neighbor, an expert on all things spiritual? Pray the rosary, wear holy jewelry, kneel down stand up sit down pay on your way out... don't forget to shout AMEN.

That is not Yahweh's purpose for knitting you together in your mothers womb, numbering the hairs on your head, and ordering the length of your days. He wants you to revere and respect him, stand with him, yes even love him, based on your knowledge of him, as revealed in the Torah Prophets and Psalms. Our "new" testament writings are sourly corrupt and hard to trust most of what is said there.

I think the evil ones name could be OPINION, because it seems to be the best weapon against Yahweh's word.... and that's my opinion ;-)
