Thank you for posting brother! Yes many are paying attention to the Mayan calendar. Even preachers are referring to the Mayan calendar to help support their end-of-the-world theology. Not only is the idea of a rapture not biblical but to refer to the Mayans for support is terrible. All of these end time prophecies do nothing but put a black eye on Christianity as a whole. I pray that the truth finds many so that they may relieve themselves of this anxiety. The shame is that most people do not study to know what they believe and why. With so much false teaching it is hard for some to know what to believe. That is where I rely on the Holy Spirit. God's truth is His truth. The Lord will see to His truth. I just pray to be used in some way by Him to help. GB

Hello Zion,
I am on vacation and been wanted to blog on the website I am currently a member of, as you can see...lol I hope I'm not boring any of the readers and wearing out your blogs :)

It has been a sad year for the people who believed in May 21, 2011, the end of the world. My prayer is that they seek first the kingdom of God, realize the Mayan Indians are not prophets of God and that this has not made them bitter toward God through Jesus Christ, but stronger to seek God for themselves.

Jesus is the end and the beginning, the end is a person, Jesus. The world has come to an end to those who have crucified this flesh and separated themselves from the fleshly desires of this world. When Jesus died on that cross the world did come to an end to him. We have to see the end of the world in like manner and deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow him to be crucified. As we are baptized in the likeness of his death we shall be in the likeness of his resurrection.

Revelation 2:10 Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.

God Bless my brother and members
