It is written that a man in bed will die and it is also written if u do no deeds you show no faith the parable of the samaratain say the man who show more love is thy neighbor
I do believe in grace and mercy. Good works is a byproduct of salvation. If you are saved then I believe that you will have good works. In context the works in most cases is referring to the works of the law under the Old Testament. The principles still apply today for the teaching is generational and lasting. Going to church every Sunday does not make us any more saved then going to the temple made the Jews saved. It is not of works for none is worthy. We must remember though that a tree is known by it's fruit, that fruit is the fruits of the Spirit.
